John Albert is the grandson of Private Percival Edward McLLheney-Albert VX 45893 HQ Coy donated a bugle to the 2/29th Battalion Association

Private McLLheney-Albert worked on F Force, survived being a POW and returned to Australia.

At the time he had with him this bugle which apparently belonged to a colleague of his who was also in the 2/29th Battalion.

The bugle has remained in the possession of John Alberts family since wars end.

It is hand stamped “FR TULK MALVERN” our Battalion records include Fredrick Richard TULK VX39158 HQ Coy who worked on F Force.

The Association has located the family of Pte Tulk and united them with the bugle.
