Eddie Albert lived majority of his life in Bendigo. He played the Bass Drum in the Bendigo Municipal Band was a member of the 2/29th 8th Div AIF. Eddie spent from Feb 1942 to August 1945 as a POW in Changi and worked on the Burma railway while being a POW.
