HANN Stephen George VX55753 HQ Coy [H Force]

Studio portrait of VX55753 Private (Pte) Stephen George Hann, 2/29 Battalion, of Armadale, Vic. He was a driver prior to enlisting in April 1941. His battalion arrived in Singapore in August 1941 and Pte Hann became a prisoner of war the following February. He died of beri-beri in Thailand on 12 October 1943. He was 27 years of age.
